Casing a card - with a twist! And Blog Candy!

Hello Friends!

It has been a beautiful week in Nebraska!  Highs have been in the 70's and for March here that is VERY rare!  Calving has been going great on the farm ~ yesterday we had 9 babies!!  It is so much fun to see them out bouncing around and playing with each other!

Yesterday, I had to go to Broken Bow today after work for a physical therapy appointment and saw two tractors in the field getting ready for spring planting!

On a creative note, I love to visit other blogs and get so much inspiration from them.  One of the blogs I love to visit is the blog Me, My Stamps and I!  Chat has soooo many creative ideas that I have CASED quite a few of her cards.  This card was featured on the blog back in February and I thought is was so pretty.

I decided that I would try my hand at this layout, color etc. and I came up with this card:

I decorated the inside just very simple ~ using the SU! DSP paper at the top with a Chocolate Chip Paper punched border.  After this picture was taken, I did add some SU! mini pearls to a few of the insides of the flowers on the stamped image.

Keeping the same design, I then made this one:

And I decorated the inside very simple ~

Finally, I made this card, again using the same layout.

And this is the inside:

I like how you can take one design and use different papers, sentiments and colors to change up each card.  Same layout ~ complete different cards.  Please check out Chat's blog for more inspiration.

Thanks for stopping by.  Remember I have BLOG CANDY which I am drawing for Monday night!  Make a comment on the post below for your chance!
